USA's Mr Robot & SYFY's "Just Married" VIP Branded Pedicabs @ Comic Con 2017

SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA

CHALLENGE

 To bring USA Network's "Mr Robot" and a special "Just Married" pedicab experience for Syfy, to Comic Con in a way that would cut through the heavy brand clutter for the event and also serve useful and helpful to attendees and residents of Downtown San Diego.

APPROACH

Through the branded pedicab free rides program, Mr. Robot was able to garner maximum exposure in downtown, while also creating valuable brand affinity for those passengers who received rides. This campaign acted as a perfect complement to the Mr. Robot Ecoin/Red Wheelbarrow Experience
on 4th Street and was able to turn heads by staging defaced pedicabs at the activation and around the Gaslamp Quarter. 

Five pedicabs were vandalized each night by graffiti artist, Izze (world renowned muralist and brand curator of Wild Style Technicians). These pedicabs hit the road the next morning to the shock and delight of many convention goers. 

In addition, and in support of SyFy’s Geek Love Chapel we provided its participants with their own post- ceremony ride on a branded pedicab complete with driver and cab cans. After the ceremony each couple was ushered to their “horse and carriage” for a victory lap around block.
